He always said he wanted to “go out, on stage in an explosion of body parts”. Tonight, the sky will crack with the lightning all his when guitar players explode around the world playing something that originated from this man as they have for over 60 years, whether they know it or not. RIP Dick Dale, King of the surf guitar! True OG DIY Punk Ethic. Here’s some memories of my time with him in the “Dick Dale School of Pain”!
